Sustainability / Ethical Practice

Our commitment to craft, culture, and community guides every decision we make, from design and materials to manufacturing and logistics.

Craft with intent

Tailoring heritage meets modern silhouettes. If it doesn’t fit your life beautifully, it doesn’t leave our studio.

Culture forward

Our design language honors African creativity and global influence — bold, versatile, unmistakably us.

Community, not hype

We grow with our customers and collaborators across Lagos, the UK, and beyond.

Sustainability

We design with longevity in mind so you can buy less and wear longer. While we continue to scale, we’re focused on practical, high-impact steps:

Durability by design

  • Bias toward stronger stitching, reinforcements at stress points, and timeless cuts that outlast trends.
  • Care guides with every order to extend garment life.

Better materials, step by step

  • Target: at least 50% of seasonal collections made with preferred materials (recycled, organic, BCI, or verified lower-impact blends) within 24 months.
  • Phasing out virgin-only polyester where performance alternatives exist.

Responsible manufacturing

  • Prioritize partners who run energy-efficiency programs and wastewater controls; audit annually and publish a high-level supplier list (Tier 1) as we expand.

Waste reduction

  • Smarter cutting plans and limited runs to avoid overproduction.
  • Introduce Repair & Rewear: discounted mending for seams, buttons, zips; and a buy-back/credit pilot for gently used items in select markets.

Smarter logistics

  • Consolidated shipments and recyclable packaging as default; no unnecessary fillers.
  • UK/EU fulfillment to reduce cross-border miles as our footprint grows.
